2021 서울 국제 도시회복력 포럼

2021년 포럼은 재난회복력을 키우고 지속가능한 도시를 만들기 위한 국내외 동향과 사례를 나누고, 앞으로의 방향을 논의하는 자리로 열렸다. 코로나19 확산을 막기 위해 전 과정이 온라인으로 진행되었다.

He is passionate about technology, transformations and great challenges. After many years working in the private sector, he began his journey in politics by co-creating G25, an organization to bridge the gap between the private world and public management. In 2010 he joined the Government of the City of Buenos Aires’ education team and later became Secretary of Social & Urban Integration, overseeing the Barrio 31 integration process, working in one of the most emblematic informal settlements in the country. Today, also in the City of Buenos Aires, he leads the Secretariat of Innovation & Digital Transformation, working to make Buenos Aires one of the most innovative cities in the world.

Participated in the various national projects and researches on spatial policy support systems of housing and urban development for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Republic of Korea in Korea Land and Housing corporation(LH)
worked as a staff secondent in Safer Cities Programme, UN-Habitat in 2018. In 2020, he joined at the department of smart city research of the Seoul Institute of Technology as a research fellow

Jae-Boong Choi is a chair professor of department of service design and also a professor of school of mechanical engineering, Sungkyunkwan university. Jae-Boong is spending most of time in designing future service or product by combining various technologies. In particular, he is focusing on human behavior affected by the birth of smartphone. He defines the digital transformation (or the 4th industrial revolution) as the total change of social system due to the sudden change of human behavior after using smartphones. According to him, the new human race who is so called ‘Phono sapiens’ is creating new culture and ruling the new business as well. He wrote a book, ‘Phono Sapiens’ which predicts the future business trend and culture change in 2019 and will be published in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand in 2020 as well. Currently, he is delivering lecture to companies, government and NGOs regarding new culture created by phono sapiens. He is also a member of future education steering committee of Ministry of Education of Korea.
